What are the top three Must Do’s in order of importance following an engagement?
1. Decide your guest list. There are many people including parents on both sides that need to be included in this process so there is a final number decided on. This set number will heavily influence and determine my next point... budget.
2. Set a budget. Set it and stick to it. After setting a budget you will be able to begin shopping for all of your vendors and know where you will spend more and where you will need to look to save.
3. Select a venue. When hiring a planner, we suggest you look at five on your scout day. Once we have met with you and understand your overall theme and vision this will help us narrow down the first day out of venues we look at.

Do you find that most brides say they wish they would’ve started with a planner from the beginning?
Absolutely! In many cases, they have over-extended their budget once they have booked and they can’t save much because they have already maxed out their budget. By hiring a planning team, you are investing in expertise and investing in someone that knows the ins and outs of the industry. In the long run, that'll save you a lot of time and money. Plus, you'll be working with trusted professionals in the industry who will show up and be amazing on your wedding day. That is worth everything.
What is biggest value in hiring a planner?
Knowing you will be inviting your closest friends and family to the most special day of your life and no one will have to be assigned a job to do or have to lift a finger on your wedding day. We take care of it all down to whose car the gifts go in and how they will the make it to the couple safely after the wedding. We are your 'right hand ladies' thru the entire process from engaged to I do.
Let's talk Pinterest. All brides are pinning their fairytale weddings, which is great! But, what is a misconception?
That they can take that exact wedding and make it fit their budget. Many of the weddings on Pinterest are staged images or photo shoots. Which makes a major difference in price when planning a wedding. Make sure your sure your expectations are realistic.
