Hello, sheKC community!  My name is Jessica Kimbrell and I am THRILLED to be partnered with sheKC lifestyle as your sheHEALTH expert!  I am a Certified Nutritionist/Nutrition Coach and my mission is to enhance people’s lives through helping them achieve their health goals, whether that be to lose unwanted fat and inches, or to gain lean muscle!  I can help you get your sexy back!  As a nutritionist, I’ve learned a lot about the science behind how our bodies work when we feed them right.  As a real, normal person – a busy wife, mom of 2 and lawyer – I know it can be a challenge to juggle all that life throws at you each day and still figure out how to be healthy.  It can be overwhelming!

Since March is National Nutrition Month, I want to share a bit about the reason why what you eat is so important and that you simply “Can’t Outrun Your Fork”. I was told back in April of 2015 that weight loss is 80% nutrition and only 20% exercise.  Seriously?  Yes, seriously.  I admit that I didn’t believe it when I heard it.  However, I was training for a half marathon at the time and had not lost any pounds or inches.  So I gave this theory a fair shot.  Wouldn’t you know that I ending up dropping 7 pounds the first week alone!  My idea of what it takes to lose weight was completely turned upside-down.  Eating right is more than half the battle.  It IS the battle.  

I am passionate about helping women do the same, and to be able to sustain their hard-earned results.  As a Nutrition and Weight Loss coach, I help people with a simple, realistic and most importantly, HEALTHY way to lose weight and keep it off (or to put on lean muscle, if that is your goal).  

Whether your goal is to lose weight and inches, increase lean muscle mass, increase energy, or gain better overall health (or a combination of all of that), I’m here for you and I will provide you with the education and support to help you get there.  I’m basically “on call” for you and am here for you every step of the way.
