How can you live a victorious life when everything seems to be going wrong in your life? You may have gotten laid off from your job, or experienced a death of a loved one. Perhaps you don't have enough money to pay your bills, or maybe you just received a bad doctor's report -- so how can you live victoriously? Trust me, my friend, you can, because a victorious life is a life of peace and joy in the Lord. It doesn't mean you aren't going to face difficulty, but you can face them with the joy of the Lord having faith that God has it all worked out on your behalf.

We can look all through the Bible and see lives that were affected by storms of life but still, they decided to live a victorious life and not waver. I am not saying it is easy, but I am saying it is doable. Job lost houses, his riches, his cattle, and even his own children -- but he still praised God for His goodness. Then, there was Joseph. His brothers turned against him and he was put in prison. But yet, Joseph trusted in the promises of God. He knew that God had a plan for his life. Joseph endured the difficulties because of his faith in God’s Word. You may be wondering how can you live a victorious life? Here are a few ways I have discovered to keep the victory.

First, you have to have FAITH that you have victory. No matter what you're facing, you must have the confidence that you win above all your circumstances. The scriptures teach us that every Christian will face trials and tribulations in life, however, God promises to deliver us from them all. "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all" Psalms 34:19. However, we must realize, our victory may not always mean immediate manifestation. God may choose to allow the circumstance to take place so that He can change YOU internally. But you are an overcomer and will overcome everything that comes your way.

Secondly, keep the Joy of the Lord and stay content in every situation. Paul told us we need to in Philippians 4:11 -- be content, no matter what state we are in. Although you are facing trials, don't allow it to rob you of your happiness, joy, or peace. Remember your circumstance is temporary, God's promises to you is everlasting. That should keep you happy because you know, in time, your circumstances must change.

Lastly, have the patience to endure till the end. You are stronger than you think. The Bible states in Ecclesiastes 9:11 "The race is not given to the swift nor the strong but he who endures to the end." Why quit when you know in the end you win?

Take these few principles and start living your victorious life TODAY knowing that God is doing something great in you, for you, and through you.
