Find beer, food, and music Father's Day weekend at Boulevardia on June 15th and 16th!
This isn't just any festival--it's a festival created with future generations in mind. Boulevardia is committed to bringing a unique experience to Kansas City without compromising the ability of future generations to enjoy their own Boulevardia. They believe in minimizing our impact on our Earth that creates the beer we all drink. Their team works year-round to develop and realize a vision of the most environmentally-friendly Boulevardia possible.
Since 2016, food vendors have been required to use compostable plates, utensils, napkins, and containers. All beverages are sold in recyclable plastic cups and bottles. Boulevardia also takes inventory of all the energy they use, from the gas to cook your burger, to the generators for lights, and exploring alternatives to keep the air clean. All information at Boulevardia comes through your smartphone app, keeping paper fliers out of the trash. Their biggest goal is to be a zero-waste festival by 2020, meaning that 100% of waste from Boulevardia is reused, recycled, composted, and stays out of landfills. Twenty waste stations around the event will provide an easy way for recyclables to be separated from compostable from landfill material. Boulevardia will also provide designated water stations to fill reusable bottles, eliminating thousands of disposable plastic bottles.
Local food has a friendlier footprint and tastes better! They give primary consideration to food vendors that use local farmers and providers to source meat and produce from the region.

Boulevardia may be a beer festival, but it’s also a family-friendly one. In addition to music, there will be several biodiesel-fueled carnival rides and interactive demonstrations at their Makers Market. Children 12 and under will be admitted free. Children under the age of 16 will not be admitted without adult supervision.
