Right Now: What We're Loving at Target
Written by: Allison Swan
One sweet collaboration just in time for summer hit shelves this past weekend at Target! Art Class has teamed up with Museum of Ice Cream to offer a sprinkles-and-style-filled collection of clothes and accessories for girls and boys! Here’s the inside scoop (see what I did there?):
When designing this capsule collection for kids with Target, the Museum of Ice Cream had a sweet goal in mind: to inspire kids to believe that their imagination is a powerful tool of self-expression. This collection celebrates creativity and individuality, whether it’s when they're skating on a banana skate board or building their dream project in a pink jumpsuit.
Other than kid’s clothes covered in fun candy prints, there's roller skates with sprinkles, an ice cream truck lunch box, gummy bear fanny pack, stackable ice cream scoop art kit, gold ice cream cone pendant necklace, and a full face temporary tattoo of sprinkles! Everything is just too cute.
If you've never heard of the Museum of Ice Cream, you might have seen photos on Instagram—celebrities have made the museum very famous. Here's their story:
"Museum of Ice Cream opened its doors in the summer of 2016, led by our Founder and Creative Director, Maryellis Bunn, and a dedicated team of creators, designers, and producers who believed in her vision for an experiential installation inspired by ice cream. Influenced by Maryellis’s childhood dream of jumping into a pool full of sprinkles, Museum of Ice Cream was born under the premise that ice cream is a universal symbol of joy, a personal pleasure, and a transportive vehicle for anyone’s imagination. Since day one, MOIC has led with intention, fun, and inclusivity; a shared and felt optimism at its core. We believe in creating beautiful and shareable environments that foster IRL interaction and URL connections, providing fun, multi-sensorial expressions of ice cream that cater to the appetites of our generation. With 4 locations under our belt, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Miami, MOIC is just getting started."
